American rapper Kevin Gates, who was sent to prison months ago for kicking an 18-year-old fan in the face, was scheduled for release yesterday, but as prison officers were processing his release papers, they received notification that there was a weapons-related warrant for his arrest.

And that was how the rapper was thrown back in jail.

According to TMZ, the 31 year old rapper had a court hearing yesterday and it is unclear what will happen to him, if he is sentenced yet again.
