According to her, she contemplated taking her life because she is owing a
Microfinance Bank the amount of One hundred and fifty thousand naira
(N150,000).
The woman reportedly went to the scene of the aborted suicide with her
house help, in the hope that after the deed, there would be someone to
tell her story.
The Lagos police commissioner Fatai Owoseni, in responding to this issue
on TVC (Television Continental) said he would increase patrol in the
lagoon axis, while also confirming that the woman would receive
Psychiatric evaluation, and the police would pay the woman’s debt, after
they confirm her story.
