According to Hindustan Times, the woman who is undergoing treatment in the emergency ward of AIIMS, is expected to survive even as the doctors are yet to find out the extent of damage to her internal organs.
The alleged attacker, 22-year-old Ravi Kumar made her drink acid near her house. Her parents said no one in the neighborhood came to her rescue.
Kumar, managed to escape from the spot after the crime, but surrendered at Sangam Vihar police station, said Romil Baaniya, DCP (South-East).
Kumar told the police that he was angry as he suspected Muskan to be in a
relationship with someone else and he also feared that her family was
set to engage her to someone else.
