have been expelled for alleged misconduct.
The acting vice-chancellor, Emmanuel Aluyor, made this known on Monday during a press briefing.
Aluyor, who said the students were not expelled for cultism-related activities, was quoted as saying;
“Edo University has zero tolerance to social vices and cultism. Even though we are one year old and not having too many students, we had cause to expel three students, not necessary for cult-related activities,”
“Edo University has no cultism on campus and to ensure that we do not have cultism, we must have zero tolerance for the kind of activities that can lead to cultism.
“By that, I mean something like two students fighting or a student issuing a threat to other students. Once we identify such a student we show him or her the way out.”
